Thomas Schneider

Executive Chairman , ISA TanTec

Tom, the founder of ISA TanTec, is now the Executive Chairman of the group. With a background of Tanning Engineering and Science, Tom dedicated his career to leather business. He found ISA TanTec in 1993 and initiated the LITE manufacturing concept in 2003. ISA TanTec today has tanneries around the globe with more than 1,400 employees.

Outside the company, Tom is the Co-Chairman of Ecological Development Union International, and was for many years member of the Executive Committee of Leather Working Group as well as the Chairman of Foreign Tanners of China. He has been dedicated to charitable work and a loud speaker for social responsibility and environmental protection.
